Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in an operating room setting highly preferred
• Proficiency with COVID-19 protocols and PPE best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all sterile supplies and equipment are readily available
• Scrub in and assist surgeons throughout various procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams, circulating nurses, and anesthesia staff
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control standards, especially with regard to COVID-19 requirements
• Accurately account for surgical instruments and supplies
