Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license, with eligibility to practice in Kentucky
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 2+ years of recent PACU/Pre-Op/Post-Op nursing experience preferred
- Comfort with COVID-19 patient protocols
- Adaptable, with strong communication and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients pre- and post-operatively in the PACU
- Administer medications and provide critical care interventions
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff
- Ensure patient safety and readiness for discharge or inpatient transfer
- Educate patients and families on recovery and ongoing care needs
