As an occupational therapist working in the home health setting across Racine and Kenosha Counties, you’ll hone your skills in evaluating and treating adults with a wide range of conditions including post-stroke, post-joint replacement, COPD, CHF, weakness, and deconditioning. This is a wonderful opportunity to diversify your resume, engage in meaningful professional growth, and enjoy flexibility with no weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:45 am – 4:00 pm
  • No weekends, on-call, or holidays

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an OT (SNF, home health, or acute care required; home health preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid and active OT license in Wisconsin
  • BLS certification
  • Reliable vehicle, current driver’s license, active auto insurance
  • Proficiency in general OT evaluation and treatment with a focus on ADLs and adaptive equipment
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive OT evaluations and interventions in patients’ homes (average 6 points/day)
  • Collaborate daily with interdisciplinary RN and PT teams
  • Participate in morning telephone huddles to coordinate care
  • Accurately document in EPIC
  • Travel between patient homes throughout Racine and Kenosha Counties
