Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current certification or licensure in a related imaging field (e.g., ARRT, RCIS, or applicable state requirements)
  • Prior experience working in a catheterization laboratory setting
  • Proficiency with imaging equipment and relevant software
  • Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiological safety protocols
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • High attention to detail and commitment to patient care
  • BLS and ACLS certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
  • Assist physicians by capturing high-quality images according to established protocols
  • Monitor patient status and provide support throughout procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and proper documentation for each case
  • Uphold the highest standards of infection control and radiation safety
  • Collaborate with nursing, cardiology staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain equipment and report technical issues promptly
