Advance your career in cardiac imaging and electrophysiology with an exciting contract opportunity for a skilled professional experienced in both Cath Lab and EP procedures. This role is vital to supporting state-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional cardiology services for a diverse patient population.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts with staggered start times: 7:00am–3:30pm, 8:00am–4:30pm, or 9:00am–5:30pm
- Rotating shifts and days
- On-call responsibilities, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist with strong proficiency in cardiac imaging technologies
- Previous experience as an EP Tech, assisting with electrophysiology studies and cardiac ablations
- Current ARRT or RCIS certification (or eligibility) preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond promptly in urgent situations
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
- Team-oriented mindset, prioritizing patient safety and positive clinical outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including electrophysiology studies and device implantations
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Monitor, prepare, and maintain equipment for a range of imaging and EP procedures
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation throughout all phases of care
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
