Cath Lab Technician | East Falmouth, Massachusetts

This contract position calls for a seasoned professional with specialized experience in both Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) procedures. Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• Start times: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, and 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
• Rotating shifts and days
• On-call rotation required, including some nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated cath lab technology experience, including imaging and EP procedures
• Registered or certified as a Cath Lab and/or EP Technologist preferred
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, sterile technique, and clinical protocols
• Proficiency in monitoring, scrubbing, and recording cases
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to accommodate rotating shifts and on-call demands

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and EP procedures
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment, ensuring quality and safety
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare procedure rooms
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly
• Document procedures and communicate with the care team
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
