This contract position calls for a seasoned professional with specialized experience in both Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) procedures. Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- Start times: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, and 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
- Rotating shifts and days
- On-call rotation required, including some nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated cath lab technology experience, including imaging and EP procedures
- Registered or certified as a Cath Lab and/or EP Technologist preferred
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, sterile technique, and clinical protocols
- Proficiency in monitoring, scrubbing, and recording cases
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to accommodate rotating shifts and on-call demands
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and EP procedures
- Operate imaging and monitoring equipment, ensuring quality and safety
- Maintain sterile technique and prepare procedure rooms
- Monitor patient status and report changes promptly
- Document procedures and communicate with the care team
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
