Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification or licensure in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology, as required by state and national standards
  • Previous Cath Lab experience in a hospital or acute care setting
  • Proficiency in operating imaging equipment, particularly for interventional cardiac procedures
  • Familiarity with cardiac anatomy, physiology, and related terminology
  • Strong understanding of sterile technique and patient safety protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours, with flexibility required for weekdays and possible on-call shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
  • Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate data collection for physician review
  • Assist cardiologists and nursing staff during invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures, reporting changes in condition promptly
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and radiation safety standards
  • Document all procedures accurately in patient records
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with technical support as needed
