Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent, with Nebraska state licensure.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in a hospital-based cath lab imaging role.
- Demonstrated proficiency with imaging equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures.
- BLS and ACLS certifications, or willingness to obtain prior to start.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment for invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Ensure accurate imaging records and documentation of catheterization lab cases.
- Assist physicians and team members during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Monitor and respond to patient needs for safety and comfort during imaging processes.
- Adhere strictly to infection control and safety guidelines.
- Participate in the maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging systems and inventory.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education within the department.
