Cath Lab Technician - Long Beach, California

Contribute your advanced technical expertise in a dynamic imaging environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to cardiac patient care. This contract opportunity focuses on Cath Lab procedures and supports a patient-centered approach within a high-impact clinical setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts: 7:00am–5:30pm, 8:00am–6:30pm, or 9:00am–7:30pm (as assigned)
• Includes after-hours and every other weekend call coverage
• Two weeknight calls per week, with further details provided during the interview

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid ARRT registration
• California Fluoroscopy License in good standing
• Demonstrated ability to perform under variable schedules and in high-pressure settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment and assist with diverse Cath Lab procedures, maintaining strict adherence to clinical and safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing personnel to optimize procedures and patient flow
• Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, documenting all aspects of care as required
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring consistent quality and compliance
• Participate actively in continuing education and team training to stay current with Cath Lab advancements

$2,662 - $2,816/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
