Cath Lab Technician - Omaha, Nebraska

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Cath Lab or similar imaging setting
• BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and pathology
• Excellent critical thinking skills and calm demeanor under pressure
• Comfortable operating advanced imaging and monitoring equipment

Responsibilities:

• Assist with cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor patient status; recognize and quickly respond to emergencies
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and patient privacy protocols
• Accurately document procedures and equipment use
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver optimal patient care
