Cath Lab Technician - Omaha, NE

Qualifications & Experience:

• Recent experience in a Cath Lab or similar imaging setting is strongly preferred
• Current certification or licensure in radiologic technology or a related field, as required by state and national regulations
• Proficiency operating Cath Lab imaging equipment and performing diagnostic/interventional procedures
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus
• Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to all safety protocols

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac imaging and interventional procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot Cath Lab imaging equipment to obtain optimal images
• Collaborate with physicians and other allied health staff during procedures, including routine and emergent situations
• Document imaging results and procedure details accurately within electronic medical records
• Participate in quality assurance and infection control practices, contributing to a safe patient and staff environment
• Maintain and monitor supply levels and equipment functionality within the lab
