Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification in radiologic technology (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Specialized experience in Cath Lab imaging modalities
  • Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures and terminology
  • Active state licensure as required for practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred)
  • Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary medical environment

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and perform high-quality imaging for interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring optimal visualization for physicians
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety standards and best practices
  • Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care in the Cath Lab
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and radiation safety protocols
  • Document procedural details and imaging results accurately in patient records
  • Support the cardiology team in emergency situations and complex interventions
  • Participate in continued education and procedural updates as relevant to Cath Lab imaging
