Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Demonstrated experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
- Proficiency with cardiac imaging technology and equipment
- Strong ability to assess and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures and assessments
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized imaging equipment
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional techniques in the cath lab
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document patient status, interventions, and changes in condition per established protocols
- Maintain a safe, sterile field and comply with all safety and infection control standards
- Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and post-procedure care
