Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent required
  • Current state licensure as applicable for imaging professionals
  • Experience in a catheterization laboratory or similar high-acuity setting
  • Robust understanding of cardiac and peripheral vascular anatomy and pathology
  • Proficiency with Cath Lab imaging equipment and safety protocols
  • BLS and ACLS certification preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare rooms, equipment, and instruments for cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging technology to capture high-resolution images for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within the Cath Lab
  • Monitor patient status, document clinical information, and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Adhere to strict radiation safety practices for both patients and staff
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and calibrated
  • Provide patient education and pre-/post-procedure support as needed
