Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent required
- Current state licensure as applicable for imaging professionals
- Experience in a catheterization laboratory or similar high-acuity setting
- Robust understanding of cardiac and peripheral vascular anatomy and pathology
- Proficiency with Cath Lab imaging equipment and safety protocols
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare rooms, equipment, and instruments for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging technology to capture high-resolution images for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within the Cath Lab
- Monitor patient status, document clinical information, and maintain regulatory compliance
- Adhere to strict radiation safety practices for both patients and staff
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and calibrated
- Provide patient education and pre-/post-procedure support as needed
