Cath Lab Technician - Saint Johns, Florida

An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced individual with strong Cath Lab and Imaging skills to work as a Cath Lab Tech. This contract position offers the chance to work alongside expert clinical staff and support cardiac care teams using advanced diagnostic and interventional equipment.

Schedule:

• 4x10 hour shifts per week
• 7:00 am – 6:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech or in a similar imaging position
• Current certifications and licensure required for Cath Lab Technologists
• Familiarity with Cath Lab procedures, including assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Strong knowledge of imaging technology relevant to cath lab procedures
• Proficiency in the setup and operation of catheterization laboratory equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Effective communication skills and a commitment to quality patient care

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, operate, and maintain Cath Lab imaging equipment in accordance with clinical protocols
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology (EP) studies
• Monitor patient status and anticipate clinical needs throughout procedures
• Accurately document procedures and maintain records according to hospital policy
• Ensure a sterile environment and adherence to infection control standards
• Collaborate with staff nurses, EP techs, and other care team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes

Additional openings are available for experienced Cath Lab RNs and EP Techs on the same schedule.
