This travel assignment offers considerable opportunities for broadening your skill set by engaging with diverse procedural protocols and multidisciplinary collaborations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab.
- Assist physicians with radiological imaging, especially cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Function as scrub assistant while maintaining aseptic technique throughout clinical procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment, monitor events, and document procedural images in the control room.
- Deliver patient care under the supervision of an RN, supporting pre-, intra-, and post-procedure needs.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and expectations.
- Uphold standards of cleanliness and organization, maintaining optimal stock levels for procedures.
- Complete all required departmental documentation and productivity information.
- Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying areas for process improvement and patient satisfaction.
- Promote organizational mission, vision, and values while upholding high service standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a fast-paced hospital or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in operating cardiac and vascular imaging equipment.
- Strong clinical documentation and patient education skills.
- Ability to maintain sterile fields and support quality/safety initiatives.
