This position will offer hands-on involvement in a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory, delivering vital technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures. By working closely with experienced RNs and physicians, you’ll broaden your technical and patient care expertise while contributing directly to life-changing procedures and patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support before, during, and after invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist physicians with radiological imaging and act as a scrub assistant to maintain sterile conditions.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment; monitor and document procedures from the control room.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, pre- and post-care expectations, and physical conditions.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization within the lab; maintain stock levels for complex interventions.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in line with departmental standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, proactively seeking opportunities for process improvement.
• Support the department's mission, vision, and values, adhering to service behavior standards.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current certification or equivalent experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
• Prior experience in cardiac imaging and interventional procedures preferred.
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
• Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments.
