Key Qualifications:
- Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Proven experience in a Cath Lab setting, specifically with imaging responsibilities
- Proficient understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathophysiology, and interventional equipment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging and monitoring equipment during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Assist physicians in the performance of catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and related diagnostics
- Adhere to established protocols for sterile field and radiation safety
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation of imaging results, procedure steps, and patient data
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition during procedures
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and available for each case
