Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and operate specialized diagnostic imaging equipment in the cardiac catheterization lab
• Assist physicians with cardiac and peripheral procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker insertions
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures, providing timely and accurate reports
• Ensure imaging equipment is calibrated and functioning properly before every procedure
• Accurately document patient records, imaging results, and procedural details

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program
• Valid ARRT or RCIS certification
• Current state licensure as required
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab environment preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability to new technology and evolving procedural protocols
