A progressive cardiac care environment seeks an experienced professional with strong Cath Lab Tech skills to join for a contract assignment. The position involves working with advanced imaging and interventional equipment in a highly specialized lab that performs cardiac, peripheral, vascular (diagnostic and interventional), EP, and IR procedures.
Schedule
- 5x8-hour day shifts: 06:45 – 15:15
- Must cover 5 days per week, schedule varies with department staffing
- Weekend coverage required every other weekend
- Call up to 3 times per week, including every other weekend; must respond within 30 minutes
- Average daily census of 6 patients
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience (no first-time travelers)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), LSRTBE state license (temporary license available with prompt application)
- Proficient in embolization, coiling, ablations, and implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
- Skilled with Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, thrombectomy devices
- Proven experience in STEMI care, able to maintain FTB/DTB times under 60 minutes
- Competent in both peripheral and EP procedures
Role Responsibilities
- Independently manage all CCL procedures with confidence
- Support a patient-first culture and contribute positively within a collaborative team
- Share expertise and provide support to colleagues
- Participate in call rotation and emergency team assignments as briefed by your unit manager; willingness to support the facility during emergency events is essential

- Utilizes state-of-the-art equipment: Impella, IABP, Inari, EKOS, Angiojet, Rotoblator, Shockwave, among others
- Imaging platforms: Siemens (floor mount and forthcoming ceiling mount), Cannon
- Documentation via EPIC with Cupid
- Fast and highly efficient Code STEMI team
