Cath Lab Technologist in Belvidere, IL

Step into an exciting contract opportunity for a skilled imaging professional with expertise in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology. This position focuses on supporting a Cath Lab where approximately 40% of cases are radiology-based, including on-call coverage. The role requires versatility, including scrubbing and monitoring devices during both interventional and cardiology procedures.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• 1–2 call nights per week
• Weekend call every 3rd or 4th weekend

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist with both EP (Electrophysiology) and IR (Interventional Radiology) experience
• Demonstrated ability to perform both scrub and monitoring roles for device implants and ablations
• Comfort with interventional procedures across both radiology and cardiology cases
• Completion of an IR skills checklist
• ARRT certification required
• Must provide on-call coverage for radiology cases as part of your rotation
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (no local candidates)

• Assist in all aspects of cath lab procedures, including scrubbing and monitoring

• Monitor and document procedures with accuracy and attention to patient safety
