Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Benton, Arkansas

Seeking a skilled professional to provide expertise in a dynamic catheterization laboratory setting. This position offers the opportunity to work on a contract basis, supporting a collaborative healthcare team with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in the imaging field.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience with both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Proficiency in imaging equipment, sterile technique, and radiation safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations
• Strong communication skills to liaise with physicians, nurses, and other staff
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Prepare and maintain the catheterization lab environment, ensuring equipment is functioning optimally
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond to clinical needs promptly
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and maintain accurate procedural documentation
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiac care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in lab inventory management and ensure all needed supplies are available
