Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certified and registered as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Strong background in imaging techniques specific to the catheterization laboratory
  • Proficient with imaging equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Comprehensive knowledge of radiation safety protocols
  • Skilled in recording and analyzing patient data during procedures
  • BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work harmoniously in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and the cath lab suite for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for physicians
  • Assist the clinical team before, during, and after diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the cath lab
  • Monitor patient condition and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care and safety
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and equipment use
  • Strictly adhere to infection control and safety standards
  • Support physicians with case preparation and documentation
  • Engage in continuing education and skills development related to new technology and best practices
