Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Boca Raton, Florida

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with RCIS credentials. This role is ideal for professionals who are specialized in imaging within a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting and are eager to contribute their expertise in a dynamic environment. Candidates must be eligible to work immediately and prepared to start as soon as possible.

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Some on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required
• Minimum of one year experience as a Cath Lab Tech, with demonstrated proficiency in cardiac imaging procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy units, intravascular ultrasound, and hemodynamic monitors
• Monitor patient vitals and provide clinical support during procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, equipment, and supplies in the Cath Lab
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and patient information in medical records
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulatory protocols
