Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Proven experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Proficiency with cardiac catheterization procedures and related imaging equipment
• Ability to operate imaging modalities and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Detailed understanding of sterile techniques and radiation safety guidelines
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment during diagnostic and interventional exams
• Support cardiologists during procedures by anticipating needs and ensuring accurate image capture
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, workflow, and post-procedure expectations
• Maintain rigorous adherence to safety, infection control, and procedural protocols
• Accurately document procedures and patient data within the electronic medical record system
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and ongoing professional education
