As an Imaging - Cath Lab Tech, you will have a pivotal role supporting complex cardiovascular procedures. You’ll collaborate closely with seasoned healthcare teams, ensuring high standards of safety and exceptional patient outcomes. This role is perfect for those passionate about both technical excellence and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular and radiological procedures
- Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, including patient education before and after procedures
- Act as a scrub assistant, maintaining strict sterile conditions
- Operate cutting-edge imaging equipment and monitor/document events in the control room
- Maintain orderly, well-stocked clinical environments for smooth workflow
- Participate in continuous quality and patient safety initiatives
- Identify process or safety improvements and actively support a culture of excellence
- Accurately complete all required documentation and productivity records
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cath lab or interventional radiology setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and sterile techniques
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
