Cath Lab Technicians play a vital role in patient care and outcomes in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract role is available for candidates with proven expertise in coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral interventions. An immediate start is available for professionals ready to make an impact in a Level II Trauma and Teaching Hospital with advanced cardiac services.

Schedule:

  • Day and night rotation with on-call requirements
  • Typical schedule involves four weeks of 10-hour day shifts and two weeks of 12-hour night shifts within a six-week period
  • Weekend on-call rotation required (one call shift every fourth weekend)
  • Occasional holiday coverage (possibly one holiday per assignment)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cath Lab Tech handling coronary and complex peripheral cases
  • Required: BLS, ACLS, and either RT or RCIS credential
  • AA/AAS Degree required
  • Proficient in arrhythmia recognition, patient assessment, and table movement (panning)
  • Prior experience with patients undergoing diagnostic and complex therapeutic cardiac and peripheral procedures
  • Familiarity with charting in EPIC (Epic Cupid experience is a plus)
  • Not open to first-time travelers; must live at least 100 miles away

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures for a range of patient types, including coronary artery disease, STEMI, valvular disease, and more
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
  • Support and monitor critically ill patients, ensuring safety and quality of care
  • No floating to other departments required

$3,225 - $3,400/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
