Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Prior experience as a Cath Lab Tech or in a similar imaging role
- Proficiency in operating cardiac and vascular imaging equipment
- Ability to assist in scrub role and maintain aseptic technique
- Comfortable providing patient care under RN supervision
- Strong communication skills for patient and family education
- Commitment to quality and patient safety initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and document real-time findings
- Assist physicians with radiological and scrub duties, upholding sterile conditions
- Educate patients and families on procedural expectations and care
- Keep the unit organized and well-stocked for routine and complex interventions
- Complete required documentation to departmental standards
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and patient safety
