An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in Cath Lab technology to make a significant impact in a dynamic imaging environment. This contract position offers daytime weekday hours, providing both professional growth and work-life balance.
Schedule:
- 6:30am to 5:00pm
- Assigned late days during the week
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
Qualifications:
- Current RCIS certificate or RT(R) credential required
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Demonstrated experience working as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, interventional procedures, sterile technique, and infection control practices
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to remain focused and efficient in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment for various cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring a safe and effective environment for patients
- Adhere to all infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitoring before, during, and after procedures
- Accurately document and maintain patient records related to imaging and interventions
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and demonstrate empathy and professionalism at all times
