Step into a pivotal role supporting advanced patient care as an Imaging – Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity offers a chance to contribute technical expertise within a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to cardiac diagnostics and intervention.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field
  • Current ARRT or RCIS certification required
  • Valid state licensure (if applicable)
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a cath lab setting
  • Strong knowledge of cath lab procedures, equipment, and sterile techniques
  • BLS and ACLS certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time hours; actual shift details provided during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the catheterization laboratory for procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are set up and functioning
  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including prepping and monitoring patients
  • Operate fluoroscopy, angiography, and other imaging equipment with precision and adherence to safety guidelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, charges, and patient data within the electronic medical records system
  • Maintain sterile technique at all times and uphold infection control policies and practices
  • Participate in emergency response procedures as needed
  • Support ongoing quality assurance and equipment maintenance protocols
