Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field
- Current ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Valid state licensure (if applicable)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a cath lab setting
- Strong knowledge of cath lab procedures, equipment, and sterile techniques
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time hours; actual shift details provided during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the catheterization laboratory for procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are set up and functioning
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including prepping and monitoring patients
- Operate fluoroscopy, angiography, and other imaging equipment with precision and adherence to safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, charges, and patient data within the electronic medical records system
- Maintain sterile technique at all times and uphold infection control policies and practices
- Participate in emergency response procedures as needed
- Support ongoing quality assurance and equipment maintenance protocols
