Step into a vital role within a dynamic cardiac care environment as a Cath Lab Technologist. As part of a specialized team, you’ll deliver advanced imaging support, collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, and play an integral part in facilitating excellent patient outcomes. This contract opportunity offers an engaging, patient-focused setting where your expertise will directly impact care quality.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Choice of (3) 12-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts per week
  • Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call may be required during the contract (no regular weekend or holiday shifts)
  • During a 13-week contract, anticipate 1–3 weeknight on-calls and potentially one weekend on-call

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification (with RCIS required)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Cath Lab preferred)
  • At least 1 year of travel technologist experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to customer service and patient/family-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced cardiac catheterization imaging procedures with accuracy and safety
  • Work in partnership with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation of procedures and patient information
  • Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care as needed
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain cath lab imaging equipment
  • Uphold adherence to hospital safety standards, protocols, and best practices
