Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position with flexible scheduling to accommodate work/life balance

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in a clinical setting
  • Strong understanding of technical support for invasive cardiovascular procedures
  • Knowledge of radiological imaging equipment and sterile field maintenance
  • Ability to provide patient care under the supervision of an RN
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • Effective patient and family educator for procedures and expectations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance during cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Assist physicians as a scrub tech, ensuring sterile technique and conditions
  • Operate imaging equipment; monitor and document procedural images/events from the control room
  • Educate patients and families about pre- and post-procedure care, ensuring understanding and comfort
  • Maintain “ready” levels of complex intervention/diagnostic supplies and keep clinical areas organized
  • Accurately complete required documentation for progress, discharge, and productivity
  • Support patient safety and quality initiatives, identifying and addressing potential hazards or areas for process improvement
  • Embody the values and mission of a patient-centered care environment
