Cath Lab Technologist in Chaffee, MO

Qualifications:

• Active certification as a Cath Lab Tech or equivalent credentials in imaging
• Proven experience in a hospital-based cath lab setting
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
• Proficient in operating cath lab and imaging equipment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in emergent situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiologists and physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Operate specialized imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring adherence to proper protocols for safety and quality assurance
• Monitor patients’ vitals and procedural data throughout the exam
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
• Collaborate with nursing and other technical staff to ensure smooth procedural workflow
• Adhere to all regulatory, infection control, and quality standards
