Cath Lab Technologist in Charles Town, WV

Step into a crucial role supporting advanced cardiovascular and interventional radiology care. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity for experienced Imaging professionals—such as Cath Lab Techs, CV Techs, EP Techs, or Vascular IR Techs—with a strong background in Cath Lab procedures.

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• Average of 10–11 call shifts per month, including weekends (same 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM call schedule as RNs)

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting required
• Valid, unexpired driver’s license (must be attached to your application)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Credentials as one of the following: Cath Lab Tech, CV Tech, EP Tech, or Vascular IR Tech
• CV Invasive Radiologic Techs: Active WV license and ARRT certification; RCIS not accepted due to WV regulations on X-Ray equipment
• BLS and ACLS certifications required for all Techs

Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub and monitoring duties for a range of cardiac and vascular cases (average 4–5 cases daily; 2–9 cases possible)
• Collaborate within a 3-person team (2 RNs, 1 Tech) for case coverage
• Support both interventional radiology and Cath Lab procedures for adult patients
• Maintain detailed case documentation in EPIC (Cupid) and Xper systems
• Float to Non-Invasive CV unit to start IVs as needed
• Participate in orientation and "buddy call" training for smooth integration

• Scrubs provided (Burgundy for Techs)
• Equipment includes Acist injector (training available), IABP, IVUS
• Cardiologist on-call availability 24/7
• Pharmacy and supply resources on-site

$3,388 - $3,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
