Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Charles Town, West Virginia

Exciting opportunity available for an experienced technologist skilled in cardiac imaging and electrophysiology procedures. This rewarding contract role specializes in supporting a high-acuity cath lab team as they deliver vital cardiac care. Candidates with backgrounds as Cath Lab Techs, EP Techs, CV Techs, and Vascular IR Techs are highly encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• 10–11 call shifts per month, including weekends

Qualifications:

• Active ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
• Certified Radiologic Technologist, ARRT (R) verification required
• Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech, EP Tech, CV Tech, or Vascular IR Tech
• Proven competency with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) and IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound)
• Familiarity with Acist injector is preferred, but not required—training will be provided if needed
• Comfortable managing ICD and pacemaker procedures (ablations not required)
• Professionalism, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a busy clinical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced imaging and diagnostic procedures including electrophysiology, vascular interventional, and cardiac cath lab cases
• Assist physicians in ICD and pacemaker implantations, as well as other device-related procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and ensure safe care throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards
• Participate in frequent on-call rotations, providing critical support during emergencies and weekends
• Continuously collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac care teams

$3,388 - $3,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
