Cath Lab Technologist - Charlotte, NC

Seeking a skilled and dependable professional with expertise in Imaging, specifically in the Cath Lab, for a contract assignment in a dynamic hospital environment. This position is ideal for those passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative cardiac team.

Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

On Call / Call Back Details

• Two weekends per month on call
• One to two weekday call nights per week (exact details discussed during interview)
• One holiday per contract, if applicable

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Proficient in operating and maintaining imaging equipment used within a cardiac catheterization lab
• Strong understanding of diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• Current ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent Cath Lab certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Operate and monitor imaging equipment to ensure precise and safe imaging
• Prepare and maintain the cath lab before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to emergency situations swiftly
• Adhere to all infection control and safety standards
• Maintain patient documentation accurately and promptly
