Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Charlotte, North Carolina

Step into an essential role focused on patient care in a dynamic Cath Lab environment. This contract position is ideal for experienced professionals skilled in Cath Lab procedures, ready to deliver high-quality imaging support and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. You’ll be instrumental in providing seamless cardiac care, leveraging your expertise in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts (0730-1800)
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Weekend rotation: two weekends per month
• On-call: 1–2 nights per week, plus two weekdays of call per month (details discussed during interview)
• Holiday coverage: one per contract, if needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech; strong knowledge of cath lab imaging procedures
• Current certification (RCIS or equivalent), with up-to-date credentials in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Versatility in handling an array of imaging equipment and technology
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-acuity environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angiography, and other cath lab cases
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and sterile techniques
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility requirements
• Respond quickly and effectively during critical situations, including on-call emergencies
• Work efficiently on weekends and occasional holidays as scheduled
