Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or registration as a Cath Lab Tech (RCIS or equivalent preferred)
• Demonstrated experience operating and troubleshooting complex imaging equipment within a catheterization laboratory
• In-depth knowledge of sterile techniques, patient safety, and radiation protection protocols
• Strong ability to assist physicians and clinical teams during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Proficient in monitoring patient responses and accurately documenting procedural details
• Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging technology for cardiac catheterization procedures, including angioplasties and stent placements
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain equipment calibration and cleanliness, adhering strictly to regulatory and infection control standards
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to emergencies as part of the cardiac care team
• Accurately record and update procedure-related documentation and patient information
• Provide support during code or emergency situations in the lab
