Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts, daytime hours
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiology
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Valid Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license
- Certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Minimum one year of patient care experience in a clinical setting
- Completion of radiation safety classes within 90 days of starting employment
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment used in Cardiac Catheterization procedures while adhering to established safety protocols
- Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging to support the medical team during invasive cardiology procedures
- Accurately document patient information and maintain detailed records of procedures performed
- Monitor patient vital signs and support patient safety throughout each procedure
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff involved in patient care
- Maintain a sterile, compliant, and safe environment in the Cath Lab
