Schedule:

  • 3 x 12-hour shifts, daytime hours

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiology
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Valid Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license
  • Certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Minimum one year of patient care experience in a clinical setting
  • Completion of radiation safety classes within 90 days of starting employment

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment used in Cardiac Catheterization procedures while adhering to established safety protocols
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging to support the medical team during invasive cardiology procedures
  • Accurately document patient information and maintain detailed records of procedures performed
  • Monitor patient vital signs and support patient safety throughout each procedure
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff involved in patient care
  • Maintain a sterile, compliant, and safe environment in the Cath Lab
