Key Qualifications:
- Certification and experience as a Cath Lab Technologist required
- Proficiency in imaging protocols and procedures specific to Cath Lab settings
- Strong understanding of cardiac catheterization, angiography, and interventional radiology
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to high standards of patient care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including setup and sterilization of instruments
- Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images used for physician diagnosis and treatment planning
- Monitor patient status during procedures and provide direct support to physicians and nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient records, and equipment usage
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in the Cath Lab environment
- Educate and comfort patients throughout the procedural process
- Participate in routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
