Key Qualifications:

• Current registration as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or ARRT preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of cardiac imaging procedures, equipment operation, and sterile technique
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical cath lab environment
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional procedures
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations
• Demonstrated proficiency with radiographic and imaging technology specific to cath lab
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring accurate and timely image capture
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, providing essential support in urgent situations
• Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records per clinical standards
• Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with biomedical staff for maintenance as needed
