Seeking a motivated professional with expertise in imaging to support a busy catheterization laboratory. This contract opportunity requires hands-on experience as a Cath Lab Tech to assist with cardiovascular procedures and imaging. Your commitment and detail-oriented approach will ensure quality care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional heart procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment during cardiac catheterizations and other vascular procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal imaging quality and patient safety throughout procedures
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately, explaining procedures and providing reassurance as needed
  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols and best practice standards
  • Maintain precise documentation and records of cases, including patient data and procedural images
  • Support smooth laboratory workflow by anticipating clinical supply and equipment needs
  • Follow established infection control guidelines and maintain a clean, organized environment

Schedule/Hours:

  • Specific hours will be discussed during the interview process to match operational needs and candidate availability

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or in a similar imaging-focused clinical role
  • Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or related field
  • Current ARRT certification and state licensure, as applicable
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong technical skills with cath lab equipment and imaging modalities
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
