Experience working in a Magnet-recognized hospital, designated as both a Level I Trauma and comprehensive Chest Pain Center, while contributing advanced skills as a Cath Lab Technologist. This contract-based opportunity offers a dynamic environment with exposure to leading-edge cardiovascular and vascular interventions in a teaching hospital with 874 licensed beds.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week (0730-1800, days)
  • Weekend, holiday, and call coverage expectations discussed during interview

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
  • ARRT-R or RCIS certification, plus active BLS and ACLS
  • Proficiency with peripheral angiogram and run-off procedures is essential
  • Willingness to learn endograft, EVAR, and TEVAR techniques if not already proficient
  • Experience in IR or vascular surgical labs highly preferred
  • First-time travelers considered

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in various cardiac and vascular procedures, including NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, and Mitral Clip cases, along with lower extremity angiograms, EVAR, and TEVAR procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including traffic coordinators, charge nurses, VAD and ECMO teams, and code response teams
  • Utilize systems and technology such as EPIC EMR, Merge Hemo, Philips/GE/Siemens x-ray equipment, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell medication systems
  • Participate in a supportive orientation including facility, departmental, and EPIC modules
