Step into a dynamic cath lab environment at a reputable teaching hospital known for exceptional cardiac and vascular care. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a Level I Trauma facility, designated Magnet status, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center, supporting a team dedicated to clinical excellence and innovation.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour day shifts (0730-1800)
  • On-call rotation with cardiac and vascular cases (details to be discussed during interviews)
  • Weekend and holiday coverage expectations, with flexibility during RTO events

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of cath lab experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications; ARRT-R or RCIS credentials needed
  • Must have direct cath lab experience and peripheral angiogram/run-off experience
  • Willingness to learn endograft, EVAR, or TEVAR procedures if not already experienced (training available)
  • Strongly preferred: background in interventional radiology or experience working with vascular surgeons
  • Open to first-time travelers
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the assigned unit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and perform procedures for a wide range of cases including NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, and various vascular interventions
  • Collaborate with a seasoned multidisciplinary team, including code and ECMO teams, and benefit from in-department support resources
  • Utilize advanced technology such as EPIC EMR, Merge Hemo, Alaris pumps, Philips and GE imaging equipment, and ISCV PACS
  • Attend comprehensive orientation, including department and facility modules, before joining the call schedule
