- Preparing and operating imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
- Assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring precise image capture and patient safety.
- Verifying patient identification and reviewing clinical history to maximize imaging accuracy.
- Monitoring and evaluating patient vital signs during procedures, responding promptly to changes.
- Maintaining meticulous records concerning equipment calibration, usage, and images.
- Adhering to strict protocols for infection control, radiation safety, and patient privacy.
- Providing compassionate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Desired qualifications:
- Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or similar imaging credential.
- Previous experience in a cardiac catheterization lab environment preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of imaging equipment and cardiac procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced settings.
