Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or related imaging certification
• Demonstrated experience operating imaging equipment specific to cath lab procedures
• Familiarity with cardiac anatomy, catheterization techniques, and sterile field protocols
• Ability to accurately follow physician instructions and assist during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Proficiency in monitoring patient status and documenting clinical information
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational abilities
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare the cath lab and equipment for scheduled procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control standards
• Support physicians and the clinical team during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and related imaging studies
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, recognizing and promptly reporting any changes in condition
• Perform imaging functions efficiently, acquiring high-quality images for physician interpretation
• Document patient information, procedure details, and technical data accurately in medical records
• Facilitate inventory management by maintaining adequate supplies and reporting equipment issues
• Provide clear patient instructions and ensure comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Participate in continuing education and uphold all compliance requirements
