Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT preferred)
  • Proven experience in a Cath Lab Tech, IR Tech, or X-ray Tech role
  • Comprehensive understanding of imaging equipment, protocols, and safety procedures
  • Competence in assisting with invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures
  • Commitment to accuracy in capturing images and maintaining thorough documentation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with healthcare providers and patients
  • Adherence to the highest standards of infection control and radiation safety

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Cath Lab, X-ray, and IR imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
  • Support interventional procedures such as angiograms, stenting, and peripheral vascular procedures
  • Monitor and record patient vitals during diagnostic and therapeutic studies
  • Ensure proper preparation of equipment and rooms, adhering to sterile techniques
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to optimize workflow and patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs
