Key Responsibilities:
- Operate advanced imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist physicians throughout complex cardiac and vascular studies
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, responding promptly to any changes
- Ensure the accurate documentation of all procedures and maintain patient confidentiality
- Manage supplies and prepare the lab for various procedures, adhering to strict infection control protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to deliver coordinated patient care
- Participate in on-call rotations and flex work schedules as needed by department demands
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- ARRT certification or equivalent in Radiography (if applicable)
- Valid state licensure/certification required for practice in Cath Lab technology
- Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital or acute care setting
- Solid knowledge of cardiac anatomy, procedures, and vascular imaging techniques
- Proficiency with imaging equipment, troubleshoot issues swiftly
- Ability to remain composed in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical situations
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred
