Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent required)
- Proven experience operating imaging equipment in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- In-depth knowledge of vascular and cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in monitoring, scrubbing, and assisting with interventional cardiology procedures
- BLS and ACLS certification (active status)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure in urgent situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality radiographic images
- Monitor patient vital signs and document procedural details accurately
- Prepare and manage sterile fields and required instruments
- Provide compassionate care and clear pre- and post-procedure instructions to patients
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
- Support inventory management and equipment maintenance in the Cath Lab
