As a Cath Lab professional in this esteemed setting, you’ll engage with a diverse group of healthcare practitioners, expand your skills across multiple advanced practices, and strengthen your resume with exposure to both innovative procedures and unique patient populations. This environment encourages both clinical excellence and ongoing learning, ensuring every day presents new challenges and valuable insights.
Schedule/Hours:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Variable start times between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm
- Participation in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation as department requires
Qualifications:
- Valid State of CT Radiographer license and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab roles
- Advanced technical proficiency in cardiovascular procedures, both emergent and elective
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong cross-training in electrophysiology, neurointerventional, and peripheral vascular procedures
Preferred Skills:
- RCIS certification through CCI
- Expertise in Siemens technologies (for radiologic technologists)
- Proficient in scrubbing structural heart and highly specialized imaging procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub and assist in advanced interventional cardiac, peripheral, neurovascular, and electrophysiology procedures
- Manage vascular access, sheath, and closure devices
- Support use of advanced imaging and mapping systems
- Adapt to high-acuity, complex case environments
