Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Denham Springs, Louisiana

Schedule & Hours

• Day shift: 5x8-hour shifts (06:45 – 15:15)
• Five days per week; schedules vary based on departmental staffing
• Every other weekend coverage required
• On call up to three times weekly and every other weekend; weekday call rotates with weekends
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of Cath Lab experience (no first-time travelers)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and LSRTBE state license (temporary license available with prompt application)
• Proficient in embolization, coiling, ablations, and device implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
• Skilled in Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
• Demonstrated experience with STEMI care, aiming for FTB/DTB under 60 minutes
• Capable of performing peripheral, EP, and IR procedures
• Ability to work independently with all Cath Lab cases

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a diverse range of cardiac, peripheral, vascular, diagnostic, and interventional procedures
• Maintain high standards of patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team
• Support and educate colleagues, sharing expertise as needed
• Adapt to departmental needs, including participation on Emergency Teams during facility events as designated by unit management
