Cath Lab Technologist - Denham Springs, LA

Schedule and Workload

• Day shift: 5x8-hour shifts (06:45 – 15:15)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Call duties up to 3 times/week; must respond within 30 minutes
• Average daily census: 6 patients

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience (no first-time travelers)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and LSRTBE state license (temporary license available; must apply within 48 hours of signing)
• Demonstrated proficiency with embolization, coiling, ablations, and device implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
• Skilled in handling Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
• Experienced in STEMI management, with FTB/DTB times under 60 minutes
• Capable of independently performing peripheral, EP, and IR procedures
• Strong team player with a commitment to excellence and willingness to support peers

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform and assist with a wide range of cardiac, peripheral, vascular, and electrophysiological procedures
• Deliver exceptional patient care and ensure safety throughout procedures
• Participate in a dynamic call rotation and respond promptly to emergency cases
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and technologists in a fast-paced setting
• Document cases accurately using EPIC EMR and the Cupid module
