Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - Denver, Colorado

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Strong technical skills operating imaging and radiological equipment
• Proficiency assisting with invasive cardiac and vascular procedures
• Ability to maintain sterile conditions and act as a scrub assistant
• Commitment to high standards of patient care under the supervision of an RN
• Effective communication skills to educate patients and families
• Capable of thorough, accurate documentation in accordance with departmental standards
• Strong organizational abilities to maintain stock and cleanliness in the unit

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for complex invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Assist physicians with imaging and maintain an optimal sterile environment
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor/document procedure images and events
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, including expectations and pre/post conditions
• Document daily, progress, and discharge notes per department protocols
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of the laboratory environment
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Identify process improvements and safety hazards, acting appropriately
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support smooth unit operations

$2,662 - $2,816/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
