Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - Dover, New Jersey

As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a pivotal role supporting complex cardiovascular procedures, assisting physicians, and ensuring optimal outcomes for each patient.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist or in a similar imaging specialty
• Proficiency in preparing and prepping for cardiac catheterizations, including PCI (STEMI) and additional interventional procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker insertions, and interventional radiology
• Deep understanding of monitoring, documenting, and calculating hemodynamic data during procedures
• Strong ability to provide procedural assistance to the physician before, during, and after interventions
• Confidence in assessing and managing vascular access sites, promptly informing physicians of any changes or complications
• Familiarity with and adherence to on-call protocols for the Cath Lab
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach

• Participation in the Cath Lab’s on-call rotation as required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac and vascular procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready
• Accurately monitor and document patient data throughout each intervention
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide assistance during and after procedures
• Maintain safe practices for patient care, including site assessment and post-procedure monitoring
• Follow established protocols for all Cath Lab activities
